cold

Well it seems Meigan has a cold, the poor little bug. If it is not the snot, it is the coughing. She always amazes me, even though she is under the weather, she is still happy. She has been very tired because of not sleeping that well but still happy! This past week went well for M as well as me. My students didn't get the best of me and M had fun in daycare. Hubby just walked by with M in his arms. She looked like she was running because he had her extended out in front of him due to her stinky bottom. He hates diaper changing and I am so used to it it's not funny. Right now M is giving her daddy a hard time. To funny! Well gotta go.

The weekend is here!!! long live the weekend!

Ever since we put Meigan in day care, she goes to bed like a dream. We put her in bed at 8:00 and she is fast asleep by 8:15. I am so proud of her, she finally figured out how to hold her food with her fingers so that she can feed herself. She is my little learner. I really think she had a growth spurt, R , Meg and I went shopping last night and bought her some new pants, 18 month. She is getting longer but still not filling out. Today is a down day for us, nothing but cleaning to do. Well gotta go.

Hi there

It has been awhile sinse my last entry. Meigan is in the process of getting through her 2nd week of daycare. She is having a ball. The only problem is once again her eating issues. Today she didn't eat her breakfast and not much of her lunch. She did do much better at dinner but it is alway a challenge with her. Her teacher said it could be because she is getting a cold just like her mommy and nothing tastes good right now. One good thing is that she is in bed by 8:00 and she doesn't make a fuss !! On to another issue. R took her to the eye doctor and we should be getting a letter from her that states that our little bug is legally blind so we can get her into Overbrook School for the Blind when she turns three. The eye surgery is still in limbo until we talk to her surgeon in Oct. Is she was blind from her corneal opacity then the surgery would be done but because she has some vision, if she get the sugery, it could make her vision worse. We are so stuck, we don't know what to do. Does she get the surgery and risk the vision she has or do we let it go and she lives with the way she sees for the rest of her life? Well my nose is getting stuffy so I will go for now.I hope to write this weekend.

Our little one is crazy today...lol

Hi everyone. It has been a few days. Today Meigan and I went to see her daddy for lunch. What a fuss everyone made over her. She is the bell of the ball when we visit daddy's work. She was yelling and dancing happily for anyone who would stop to say hi to her. She even walked away with the cleaning staff. Those ladies are so nice, one of them went skipping down the hall while Meigan tried to do the same while they held hands. It was so funny to see. If I let miss Meigan, I think she would have stayed all day in work. Later, when daddy came home, she was a total nut running and playing in the house. At least she sat to eat,but was up and yelling right after she finished eating. I guess over stimulation will do that to a little one. My biggest challenge was bed time, M didn't want to go to bed so mommy had a slight stress meltdown. M finally fell asleep at 10:50 and here I am still awake. Yikes, I hate to see this issue continue when I start back to work next week, my students won't have any peace in my room. This past Sunday we went to visit friends of ours. A great time was had by all, except for dad who was doing electrical work outside of J and B's house...lol Anyway, M had a real good time playing and exploring with S,E and young B.This weekend we are taking our little miss to the P.A. Renaissance Faire. It's the kids weekend there.

Well it has been awhile.
We were on vacation in the poconos this past week so that is why there were new posts. We are all doing fine and Meigan is still improving with her eating. We were actually able to go out to dinner one night and that little lady of mine was the best! She sat in a highchair and played and ate the whole time. We discovered she likes fried calimari...lol . Nana and g-pop are going to watch her today while I go to the doctors. Well I smell something brewing in a diaper so I better go for now.

Well Yesterday I took Meigan to see her god-mom and her kids. We spent the whole day together playing and talking. When lunch time came around I became the proudest mom in the world. Meigan sat in her chair and actually ate everything that was given to her. She is finally chewing her food!!!!! She had 1 1/2 chicken nuggets and some mac & cheese. For dinner when we got home I gave her beef lomain and she ate all of that and even some of daddy's dinner. We are finally getting over that bump in the road that was her issues on food. For breakfast today she ate a pancake ! I see a trend here...lol My little bug is finally catching up with things she was never taught in China. Oh, I think I smell a stinky little girl, Gotta go to change a diaper. peee u!!
