it has been awhile

Well, I am back. it has been awhile since I wrote anything and well, I really don't know what to write. M is doing well, she starts school Jan 5th and will be taking a school but. Of course I will be a mess the first day. I wish I could follow her to school but then I would have to call out from work. I will be soooooooooooo happy not to pay for daycare. I am kinda getting tired of having to take off from work when ever M has to many bowel movements or she gets a bloody nose just because the air is dry. I hate that we have to pay for the whole week when the daycare is closed for 2 of the days because of the holiday. I can't wait for all that sillyness to end.

Well enough of my venting.Who is done all their holiday shopping?? we only have to get maybe 4 more gifts for family members and then we will be done.

I am soooooooooooooo happy!

Today I took Meigan to overbrook school for the blind for an observation and IEP. And guess what? M will be starting pre school there on Jan. 5, 2009 when she is 3 years old....Hip,Hip Horray!!!!! Another great thing today is that I got my car back from the body shop. Another Hip,Hip, Horray!!!!

Temper,temper little girl

Well I do believe that my darling little peanut is now showing a whole new side of her personality. All I can say is wow!! The past 2 days, when Meigan doesn't get her way, she has a major hissy fit. I didn't realise just how loud this little ball of energy can get until she got mad and started screaming. Calgon, take me away.( along with a stiff drink of just about anything).
Today's fit started when he got a bump on her jaw and she spilled her water. I took the little cup away because it was empty and she hat a fit. My mom and a friend of mine said welcome to the age of 3, it's worse than a 2 year old.....lol

I hope she is better tomorrow. Well gotta go, it is getting to that time again when I must hit the bed for a night of restless sleep.

Well I took the car to the body shop $2000.00 in damage. Thank goodness I only have to pay $500.00 . Meigan is doing really good now with her eating, she has to work more on using a fork and spoon but other that that she is great. I still wish she would start talking to us. I am soooooooo frustrated that she communicates by only making noises. Well gotta go, I hear the little one giving daddy a hard time.

crash boom bang!!!

Ok. R,M and I went out this past Monday to window shop for a bigger car for me. Needless to say, we came home with a Toyota Highlander. Today, was going tobe a wonderful mommy daughter day. Meg and I get in the car, I start it up and instead of putting in reverse, I put it into drive and smashed into the back of the house. The house is fine but now my newly purchased car needs some cosmetic surgery. Augh!!!!!! I can't believe how stupid I am. The gear shift is different than my old car and I didn't pay attention to which gear I was in. Meigan was unharmed but I am not feeling so good. I guess I have been very tense so my whole body hurts.
Any way, Meigan will be going to overbrook to be evaluated for mor interventions with her vision and development on the 15th of Oct. That's all for now.

Daycare

O.k, here is the thing, I get to work yesterday by 7:50 M was o.k no problems in the morning when I dropped her off at daycare. At 9:25 I get a call, M has has 2 very loose bowl movements (sorry, tmi) can you pick her up. I left school at 9:45 to pick her up. We get home and she goes again but it was almost normal. She did #2 a total of 6 times yesterday. The reason for all the #2's, she had to much apple juice the night before. I had to take a family sick day with 1/2 pay all because her poo was to loose. AUGH!!!!! The only good thing about leaving early from school was that I did not have to teach the 8th graders. I understand that the the daycare is looking out for all the kids, but was it really necessary for me to take a day off for a load of poo??

cold

Well it seems Meigan has a cold, the poor little bug. If it is not the snot, it is the coughing. She always amazes me, even though she is under the weather, she is still happy. She has been very tired because of not sleeping that well but still happy! This past week went well for M as well as me. My students didn't get the best of me and M had fun in daycare. Hubby just walked by with M in his arms. She looked like she was running because he had her extended out in front of him due to her stinky bottom. He hates diaper changing and I am so used to it it's not funny. Right now M is giving her daddy a hard time. To funny! Well gotta go.
